Getting tested is easy:
- WALK-IN - At our Hemet location, we welcome walk-ins with open arms. While we don’t schedule appointments, rest assured that most visits take less than 30 minutes.
- ASK YOUR DOCTOR - When your doctor or provider orders your tests, ask them to send your specimen to Gnosis.
Getting diagnostic testing done should be easy. That’s why we make it simple for you to either come to our lab in Hemet directly or to have your specimen collected at a local provider, requesting it to be sent to Gnosis for processing. This way you have the convenience of your local collection center with the full diagnostic power of Gnosis.
Getting your results is easy
Your results will be sent directly from Gnosis to your physician and they will be able to share your report.
Billing Information
Gnosis currently accepts Medicare, most Medicaid plans, commercial payors, and private pay patients. If you are paying out-of-pocket for your laboratory services, please contact us for a free quote before your testing. Please have the names of your tests or their codes ready. 1-888-539-0525.
Preparing for your visit
We want you to have the best possible experience when visiting a Gnosis lab. Easy, accessible, fast. In order to do that, sometimes it’s important that you take a few extra steps to prepare before your visit. This could include fasting, drinking less water than usual, abstaining from medications, and many other things. To ensure the accuracy of your test, please be sure to ask your doctor if they want you to take any special steps before your test.

When to visit?
We do our best to make sure your visit is less than 30 minutes.
When you arrive, please be sure to bring:
- A completed Gnosis Requisition form or laboratory order from your healthcare provider
- Your current insurance card (Medicare or private insurance card)
- A photo ID (driver’s license, passport, employee ID)
- Your HSA card, credit card, or debit card for payment

You can expect your lab results to be available within 24-48 hours in most cases. However, the timing may vary depending on the specific test ordered. More complex tests might take a bit longer to process and analyze. Rest assured, we’re dedicated to providing you with accurate results as promptly as possible.
If you have questions about your results, the best course of action is to reach out to the healthcare provider who ordered the test for you. They will have access to your medical history and the context of the test, enabling them to provide you with the most accurate and relevant information. Here’s how the billing process typically works at Gnosis:
- Service Provision: You undergo laboratory testing or services prescribed by your healthcare provider at Gnosis.
- Claim Submission: Gnosis submits a claim to your insurance provider for the services rendered. This claim includes details such as the type of test performed, associated charges, and relevant diagnostic codes.
- Insurance Processing: Your insurance provider reviews the claim and determines coverage according to your policy. This may include factors such as deductibles, co-pays, and coverage limitations.
- Explanation of Benefits (EOB): After processing the claim, your insurance provider sends you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The EOB outlines how the claim was processed, including what portion of the cost was covered by insurance and any patient responsibility, such as co-pays or deductibles.
- Patient Billing: If there are any out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance, such as deductibles, co-pays, or services not covered by your plan, you will receive a bill from Gnosis. This bill will detail the services provided, the amount covered by insurance, and any remaining balance due from you.

While still providing the excellent care you’re accustomed to from Mountain View, Gnosis offers an enhanced range of services and cutting-edge expertise. So, although the billing might come from Mountain View, rest assured that you’re receiving the same quality of care with the added benefits of Gnosis’s expanded services and innovation.
